The harvester has a cutter which can reach up to 5.5’ deep. The plants are cut and conveyed up into the harvester where they are collected before being transported to shore for disposal. This method is often used in areas of very heavy pondweed growth, water chestnut, or for dense algae collection. It can even be used in conjunction with other services to provide more effective means of control.
