Mechanical Harvesting & Weed Removal Services
Mechanical Harvesting provides a great option for handling large amounts of plant material. We currently have two Mechanical Harvesters in our fleet. Our H5-200 is on the smaller end of the size scale to allow it access into more difficult areas, easier transportation, and to harvest in tighter locations on the water. Our H7-450 is larger and has a much bigger capacity allowing for more harvesting between trips to unload.
Mechanical harvesting is a great solution for managing Water Chestnut as well as nuisance pondweeds and other types of Aquatic Vegetation.

The harvester has a cutter head which can reach 5.5’- 6' deep. The plants are cut and conveyed up into the harvester where they are collected before being transported to shore for disposal. Mechanical Harvesting is a great solution for managing Water Chestnut, Pondweed, Tape Grass, and cutting Lily Pads. It can even be used in conjunction with other services to provide more effective means of control.
